- What is the contract validity period? What goals has Ihor Surkis set for you? Will some tournament achievements of preparation of players for the main squad will be the priority?
- Tomorrow we’ll discuss everything in detail. I’ve signed a two-year contract. After vacation I’ll talk to Serhiy Rebrov and Ihor Surkis again.
- Who’s in your coaching staff?
- This topic is also to be discussed. Personally I don’t want to change anything.
- Working as TV expert you often watched Dynamo-2 matches. What can you say about the team?
- I’m aware of state of affairs in Ukrainian First League in general and in Dynamo-2 in particular. The team has changed for better this year. We must do justice to Olexandr Khatskevych for his work. Players have made a leap forward.
- Dynamo-2 squad wasn’t changed rapidly during the last break, but results the team demonstrates are different today. What’s the key to success?
- It’s a natural process. Players grow to maturity and get accustomed to each other. I think such stability must be our aim as another generational change is coming. Our task is to help young performers with adaptation. They must make headway.
- Dynamo-2 are fifth in standings after the first part of the season. Is that deserved place? What will you lay claim to after the break?
- I think Dynamo-2 are fifth deservedly. I saw games against leaders in which the team looked worthy. Players can take a heat.
- When will Dynamo-2 training camps start?
- Players will be away on vacation till January 12. After that we are going to take part in Makarov Memorial Tournament and then leave for Turkey to have a training camp.
- Will you look to the main squad play, speaking about tactics?
- Sure, in Dynamo-2 we’ll use the main squad methods of work. All Dynamo teams must move in same direction.
- You used to be Dynamo legend as a player, but as a coach you join the team only now. What do you feel?
- That’s true, I’ve returned 25 years afterwards (smiling). First of all it’s a pleasure to work for such club as Dynamo. Moreover, it’s my native team. That’s why it’s great to return to my family.
