Hearty meeting in Dynamo traditions (+ VIDEO)

Insignificant excitement of players disappeared as they were offered to put on new Dynamo sweatshirts from “Football Legend” collection. That let them feel like a sole team.

First of all Serhiy, Vladyslav and Mykyta took part in FC Dynamo Kyiv Students League drawing procedure.

After that they answered fans’ questions.

- Serhiy, Vladyslav, you used to feature abroad for FC Slovan Liberec. What experience did you gain working there?

Serhiy Rybalka: - First of all it was a chance to return to Dynamo in case of successful play in Czech Republic. I got an opportunity to feel what it’s like to be a foreign performer, to meet good people. Slovan are really friendly team.

Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev: - For me it was a very good life experience first of all. I’m also thankful to Serhiy Rybalka, who helped me to adapt to the new team.

- Vladyslav, does your father’s glory help you?

V.K.: - I feel some responsibility, but it really helps me, as my father was a great player. He encourages me, but I’ll try to achieve success on my own.

- You father says that you have better speed and shot than he had. Does he usually praise or criticize you at home?

V.K.: - After every game we analyze each episode I take part in. He never praises me too much.

- In 1966 FC Dynamo Kyiv first team regulars left for the World Cup and when they returned youth took their starting spots. Would you like to do something like that?

Mykyta Burda: - Of course we want to be the first team regulars, but our national team must qualify for the World Cup so that we could do something like you’ve mentioned (smiling).

- Serhiy, don’t you look at Mykyta with admiring envy considering that he was given a chance to approve himself in Dynamo at the age of 19 while you didn’t have such an opportunity?

S.R.: - I don’t. I’m really glad that Mykyta has got such a chance. He plays very confidently, especially considering that he featured against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and in the Europa League. When I was 19 I wanted to take the field at least when the score was 3:0 or 4:0 for Dynamo, but I didn’t have such an opportunity. That’s why I went to CzechRepublic to approve myself.

- Serhiy, Vladyslav, what songs did you sing at Slovan “rite of initiation”?

V.K.: - I sang Ruki Vverkh pop band song as I knew its words (laughter in the hall).

S.R.: - I sang “White roses”. There are actually a lot of traditions in Slovan. When you join the team you feel like the part of it. We even made presents for each other.

- Do you keep in touch with your Slovan teammates?

S.R.: - Sometimes we right each other. I communicate with Radoslav Kováč. Recently he congratulated me on earning Dynamo starting spot.

- How are Ukrainian and Czech football different?

V.K.: - As for me, there’s more scrimmage there and each team struggles till the final whistle.

S.R.: - I can say exactly the same. They also rely on young performers more than in Ukraine.

- How do you get up for important games, celebrate victories and overcome defeats. What superstitions do you have?

V.K.: - On the match day I don’t call or write anyone.

M.B.: - Usually football players have many superstitions, but I don’t. After defeats I try to analyze my play. As for great celebrations after victories, I haven’t witnessed them so far.

- Mykyta, what club would you like to feature for? Who is your idol? Who was the player it was really difficult to oppose?

M.B.: - First of all I want to become Dynamo first team regular. Maybe I’ll be willing to perform in one of top leagues in future, in English Premier League, for example. As for the last question, it was difficult to oppose Douglas Costa and Darijo Srna.

- What is the secret of Dynamo good play in recent times?

S.R.: - When I was leaving Dynamo I felt that the White-Blues weren’t a sole team. I think it depends upon the coaching staff. Serhiy Rebrov communicates with players constantly, helps everyone, and cares about our problems. Raul explains us peculiarities of tactics very clearly.

- Do you have any hobbies? How do you spend free time?

V.K.: - I like to spend free time with my friends. I’ve also become an uncle, so I slop with my nephew.

S.R.: - I really like to sleep a lot. I also can go to the cinema with my girlfriend.

M.B.: - The same about me: home, friends, girlfriend.

- What European top clubs would you like to perform for?

S.R.: - I like Real Madrid.

M.B.: - I like Barcelona.

V.K.: - I also like Barcelona and Arsenal London.

- What does FC Dynamo Kyiv mean to you?

M.B.: - I had a dream to play for Dynamo since childhood and I’m very happy to represent this club today.

S.R.: - Of course I always dreamed about that. 1998/99 Champions League is unforgettable.

V.K.: - I also always dreamed about Dynamo. Everybody knows that this is the best Ukrainian team and it will always be!
