In February of 2016 27-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Valeriy Fedorchuk joined FC Dynamo Kyiv.

Thus quite experienced player started another stage of his career – with the most titled and popular club of the country.

Valeriy was born on October 5 1988 in Netishyn, Khmelnytskyi region. Fedorchuk’s way to big football was long. He made his first steps is youth schools Izotop and Enerhetyk. At the age of 14 Valeriy joined Nyva-Svitanok (Vinnytsia).

“We didn’t have best possible conditions, but that was enough to make headway”, - recalls the player. He had quite good marks at school. According to Valeriy, his brightest memory of that time is Ukrainian Youth League match at the NSC Olimpiyskyi, when he managed to score.

After graduation from Vinnytsia sports school Fedorchuk went to Kryvyi Rih to sign the first professional contract – with FC Kryvbas. His salary was 300 dollars per month. Still Valeriy mostly featured for Kryvbas reserve team. Later he performed for amateurs – Velbovno (Rivne region league) and Podillia Khmelnytskyi.

In 2007 Fedorchuk signed another professional contract – with FC Lviv. He played for this team for two seasons with the second one – in Premier League. In his debut match in the UPL the midfielder scored against FC Shakhtar Donetsk 91 minutes into the game and helped Lviv side win 2:0!

In 2010 Fedorchuk signed 4-year contract with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and joined this team for 4,8 million hryvnias. Still at first he returned to Kryvyi Rih to feature for Kryvbas on loan. He made 47 appearances in Premier League for Yuriy Maxymov’s men.

Only in 2015 Valeriy didn’t have loan moves. Dnipro gaffer Myron Markevych gave him regular starting spot and he played 20 matches in the UPL. Still Fedorchuk’s main achievement so far is the Europa League final. Fedorchuk was substituted when the score was 2:2 after which Sevilla FC netted the decider…

In autumn of 2015 Valeriy picked up serious injury at the ordinary training session. Anyway soon he was invited to FC Dynamo Kyiv.

“I’ve been supporting Dynamo since my childhood. That’s why I had no doubts signing the contract!” – stated 27-year-old player. Characterizing his game style he said: “I’m a supporting midfielder, but I can play on other positions too. First o fall I want to benefit the team!”
