Artem Kravets undergoes operation in Munich

FC Dynamo Kyiv striker Artem Kavets is likely to miss the start of next Ukrainian Premier League season after undergoing surgery on a thigh problem.

The 20-year-old was operated on Thursday in Munich and will have to stay in hospital until Monday. Then, the forward will return to Austria and fly back to Kyiv together with his team-mates. Doctors estimate that the player will need a period of around two months to recover.
