The temple of White-Blues’ relics

On April 14 2012 “Dynamo” Kyiv museum was opened in ceremonial atmosphere. There one can see trophies which “Dynamo” won during 85 years of its history. In the museum there are also lots of library pictures and unique exhibits.

One of the most legendary players of the White-Blues Oleh Blokhin cut the symbolic ribbon and “Dynamo” Kyiv museum opened its door for first visitors.

-The museum impressed me. Still I don’t know yet which of my personal awards I should bring here. I’ll look for some! I hope that fans will like the museum and will come here with kids, - told the Ballon d'Or-1975 winner.

-They should also bring boys from “Dynamo” football academy here and tell them about the history of the club. There can be no future without knowledge of history. I think kids must know when “Dynamo” played against “Bayern”, when Trusevich, Makarov and other played. The history of “Dynamo” consists not only of Blokhin, Belanov and Shevchenko. A lot of other players created the glorious name of “Dynamo” Kyiv. I think that every fan of the club should come here, see historical exhibits, and watch library pictures which remind of the most memorable matches.

The head “Dynamo” Kyiv museum Valeriy Starkov told how the exposition of the temple of white-blues’ relics was created:

-The creation of the club museum exposition was very important. Several specialists went abroad to see some ideas of foreign colleagues. We visited museums of “Real” Madrid, “Barcelona”, “Milan”, “Beshiktash” and other famous football clubs. “Dynamo” Kyiv fans and foreign guests were positively impressed by the visit to our museum.

As Starkov says, fans are mostly interested in the stand where one can see pictures of all players who ever played for “Dynamo”.

-There are always many visitors in that corner. The representatives of older generation recall their idols and young people speak about those who play for our club till now.

The museum administration plans to enlarge the exposition with a help of unique photos, awards and uniform of “Dynamo” Kyiv stars, who willingly give all that stuff for the museum of white-blues.

-I’d like to appeal to all “Dynamo” Kyiv fans that live all over the world. We are ready to collaborate with everyone who can give us material connected with the history of the most titled club of our country!
