Decider by Artem KRAVETS hands Ukraine victory against Finland!

Ukraine have won the second 2018 World Cup qualifier in a row!

Andriy Shevchenko’s men have defeated Finland in Odesa – 1:0!

Considering the situation in our group the Yellow-Blues must aim only for victories. Full house at the Chornomorets Stadium encouraged our players to rush forward after the kick-off. That wasn’t easy to do as Finland defense was orderly.

Two FC Dynamo Kyiv representatives were in Ukraine starting lineup – right winger Andriy Yarmolenko and striker *Artem Kravets.

Artem, who features for Granada CF on loan this season, scored the only goal of the game (5th for the national team) that handed Ukraine vital victory. 25 minutes into the match Kravets netted the ball after low cross from Konoplianka!

Andriy Yarmolenko (66th cap) tried to create danger on his flank together with Bohdan Butko.

83 minutes into the game Viktor Tsyhankov took the field and thus made his debut for the national team. His squad number was 13.

Ukraine will play the next World Cup qualifier on March 24 2017 – against Croatia.

On November 15 the Yellow-Blues will have a friendly against Serbia in Kharkiv.
