Friendly. Dynamo – Neftci – 2:1. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv have played the second friendly at the training camp in Turkey – against Azerbaijani side Neftci PFK.

The game started with moment of silence dedicated to victims of Black January. That was a violent crackdown on a civilian population of Baku on January 19-20 1990 by the Soviet army.

Dynamo starting lineup was formed of players, who finished the friendly against Legia Warsaw (1:1). The White-Blues got in front quite quickly. At first Mykolenko joined the attack and converted low cross by de Pena into goal. A bit later de Pena attempted after cross by Karavayev from the right side, defender cleared the ball, Rusyn obtained it and hit the target.

Shortly before the break the mistake by Kadiri almost resulted in one-on-one chance for Alaskarov, but Bushchan left his position and helped the teammate.

After the break Dynamo had almost the same lineup that started the match against Legia. The only difference was that Syrota replaced Zabarnyi. Boiko saved the White-Blues twice early in the second half. Our team responded with decent shot by Tsytaishvili. Baku side keeper parried it.

66 minutes into the game Dabo had a chance to pull one back, but hit the post in one-on-one situation. Still in several minutes Neftci scored. Platellas attempted from outside the box, it seemed that Boiko controlled the situation, but still conceded.

Sol had a great chance to make it 3:1, but sent the ball way over the bar after cross from the right side.

Anyway, it’s 2:1 and Dynamo first win in 2020!
