Artem KRAVETS: between past and future (+ VIDEO)

FC Dynamo Kyiv forward Artem Kravets hit the target 14 minutes into the game as the White-Blues faced FC Metalist Kharkiv away within the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 2.

Before that Artem scored for Kyivans more than a year ago as last season DynamoAcademy trainee featured for FC Arsenal Kyiv on loan and later – for Dynamo U-21.

On May 26 2013 Kravets scored brace at the NSC Olimpiyskyi in the final match of 2012/13 season.

One should hand it to Artem’s character. Despite all difficulties he kept training and waiting for his chance. He got it early in this season as his competitors Brown Ideye (signed by West Bromwich Albion FC) and Dieumerci Mbokani (injury) gave supporters a reason to pay attention to Kravets again.

Artem doesn’t conceal his priorities: “I really want to prove everyone that I’m a good player and I can be useful. I didn’t get a single chance to approve myself within a year. How could I prove anything? Still I was doing my best at every training session and played for reserve team with dedication”.

Kravets has stated that his meeting with Dynamo president Ihor Surkis right after the end of the last season was very important: “After the last game against FC Zoria Luhansk we made arrangement for a meeting. We talked about future and decided that I would go to the training camp with the team and that it would define my horizons in Dynamo”.

Trust encourages. After consultation with Serhiy Rebrov the president of our club offered Artem a new contract. “I didn’t hesitate at all and signed the new agreement”.

After hard work at two training camps in Austria Kravets started the new season in great physical conditions. He’s let everyone see that one can count on him.

Our forward has good motivation: “I’ll work really hard to benefit the team! Everything must be proved on the pitch. I’ll do everything to show the head coach paces and of course I want to win the domestic league with Dynamo!”.
